Website Major Update
Website Major Update
Project details
What we need
- Significant update to Organization’s existing CMS website, such as adding a new page, customizing a theme, adjusting layout, etc.
- Smaller update to Organization's non-CMS website
Additional details
Texas Ramp Project is completely revamping its website. We are about halfway through the new mockups process and think it better to start getting some of these into development and getting dev feedback. Our site is hosted on Wordpress.
What we have in place
- We currently have the first half of the mockups, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a UX designer to tweak things based on your feedback, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,586 , allowing us to invest into building more ramps. Additionally hopefully our new site will increase donations so we can continue to help our fellow Texans.
The pandemic and now inflation have increased the price of the lumber we need to continue to build ramps. We are looking for ways to encourage people to help us by donating their time or financial resources. A new website with modern feel can inspire people to help while at the same time educating them on the great service we provide. Please help us spread the word so we can continue to help our fellow Texans!

Our mission
The Texas Ramp Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides free wheelchair ramps to low-income older adults and people with disabilities identified by local health care providers. Ramps are built exclusively with volunteer labor, keeping costs to a minimum. Ramps are built without regard to race, religion, ethnicity, age or gender.
