Project details

What we need
  • Significant update to Organization’s existing CMS website, such as adding a new page, customizing a theme, adjusting layout, etc.
  • Smaller update to Organization's non-CMS website
Additional details

Significant updates to the school's website:
- In need of someone familiar with Edlio to assist in the following:
- clean up back end pages and content
- customizing theme and adjusting layout
- adding new pages
- adding new graphics
- streamlining fonts and font sizes

More details to be provided once project starts.

What we have in place
  • We currently have an IT team that can provide guidance on the back end work, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have someone on our team to provide graphics, pictures, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,586 , allowing us to allocate towards more resources for our scholars such as tech equipment, uniforms, field trips.

Our website has been in need of a revamp for a long time. We have started the process but in stages, we now are at the point that we need a dedicated person to support with our efforts.

Prep: Share Scope of Changes
  • Volunteer Manager shares link to existing website with Professional
  • Volunteer Manager provides list of required updates to make (including sharing content or image assets, as necessary)
  • Both parties review our pro-tips for Organizations and Volunteers to ensure the project is set up for success

Milestone 1: Kick-Off Meeting
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional connect to discuss requested updates, and agree on a project timeline
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with credentials to access the website admin portal

Milestone 2: Review Updates
  • Professional makes the requested updates to the website (if available, the changes should be made in a test or development environment first)
  • Volunteer Manager reviews each update, and reports any remaining issues to the Professional

Milestone 3: Implementation of Updates
  • Professional implements updates to the live website
  • Professional troubleshoots any issues that may arise immediately after implementing changes on the live site
