What we need
  • Significant update to Organization’s existing CMS website, such as adding a new page, customizing a theme, adjusting layout, etc.
  • Smaller update to Organization's non-CMS website

Hello,

I hope you are well! We currently use word press. We need help updating the content, photos, layout, and we need a functional "donate now" button. We could also use help with some training, if feasible, on how to manage/upload edits more regularly.

What we have in place
  • We currently have most content and pictures, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have dedicated staff, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,586 , allowing us to use our budget to continue providing pre-college advising and tutoring to our students.

We run educational programs for low-income youth. We want the site to be more accessible to students, parents, partner districts, schools, and the general community.

  • Volunteer Manager shares link to existing website with Professional
  • Volunteer Manager provides list of required updates to make (including sharing content or image assets, as necessary)
  • Both parties review our pro-tips for Organizations and Volunteers to ensure the project is set up for success

Milestone 1: Kick-Off Meeting
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional connect to discuss requested updates, and agree on a project timeline
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with credentials to access the website admin portal

Milestone 2: Review Updates
  • Professional makes the requested updates to the website (if available, the changes should be made in a test or development environment first)
  • Volunteer Manager reviews each update, and reports any remaining issues to the Professional

Milestone 3: Implementation of Updates
  • Professional implements updates to the live website
  • Professional troubleshoots any issues that may arise immediately after implementing changes on the live site

Plan of Action for Challenging Times, (PACT), Inc. promotes community empowerment by increasing access to higher education for low income youth and young adults, by positively impacting the school graduation, drop-out and college going rates.

Website Major Update Project

Working with Annette at PACT was an absolute pleasure. She was very patient and understanding as we updated and tested the new website. PACT uses Gravity Forms Signature addon to receive applications, so we modified the application forms with additional required checks and the ability to be saved before completion and submission. This will reduce the number of duplicate forms submitted. I look forward to working with Annette to make PACT's specific video training. PACT provides an excellent service to the community and is celebrating 60 years.
