What we need
  • Setup and implementation of Google Workspace account and specific apps
  • Training for up to 5 staff on how to configure and use Google's apps
  • Note: Google Apps for Nonprofits (Google Workspace) is free for qualifying 501(c)(3) nonprofits, and includes 30GB of storage across Gmail and Google Drive

What we have in place
  • We already have a Google Workspace and a comprehensive and ultra-organized shared drive system. We have one person who will be working with you, telling you what we need, and answering any questions you might have. Plus we're Better Because a 100% remotely volunteer-run nonprofit, so we're already set up to work with remote volunteers. How this will help
This project will save us $1,481 , allowing us to continue running on a shoe-string budget of less than $500 per year.

Having our shared drive organized will allow us to access our documents and spreadsheets allowing us to do our work. Our shared drive was ultra-organized until it got severely messed up due to a small tech mishap on 10/26/21.

  • Volunteer Manager applies for G Suite for Nonprofits , or has a Google Workspace account and is ready to set it up

Milestone 1: Information Gathering
  • Volunteer Manager shares current suite of applications team uses, along with current storage and file management system
  • Professional provides recommended list of Google apps to setup, and incorporates feedback from Volunteer Manager

Milestone 2: Implementation and Training
  • Professional sets up requested Google Workspace apps, such as Google Drive, Gmail, Google Docs, Google Calendar, and Google Hangouts.
  • Professional sets up Gmail with an initial set of email groups (if necessary)
  • Professional sets up G Suite account admin privileges for Organization’s designated admin users
  • Professional provides a basic tutorial on the functionality of different applications, as well as instructions for admin users
