Website Content Plan
Website Content Plan
Project details
What we need
- A document outlining each page and section of the website, with descriptions of written and visual content for each
- An assessment of the written content, specifically indicating where written content is final, draft (needs editing), or needs to be written from scratch
- An assessment of the visual content, specifically indicating which visual assets are ready and which need to be created or sourced
- Advice on how to collect content from other places (e.g., marketing materials, grant proposals, event photos, etc.) and edit it for the website
- Note: This project is for content planning only. For additional support, see the Website Creation: Build a Brand New Site bundle
Additional details
We have an existing Wordpress site (https://griptape.org/) that we want to improve and build anew on Squarespace. We've just completed a website audit on two of the highest priority pages. We want to move much of the information on the current site to the new one, but we know it needs to be edited and redesigned to create a more engaging, inspiring site for users. I need help figuring out how to think about which content is valuable for the new site and which content drags it down.
What we have in place
- We currently have an existing website with ample text and visuals, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a completed website audit, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,636 , allowing us to directly support more youth in our upcoming programs.
We are a small nonprofit that provides supports for learning opportunities to teens who lack access to rich learning in their communities. We want to inspire youth to seize control of their own learning and chart their paths to success.
In turn, we study the outcomes of these experiences on young people, and we want to excite other orgs, potential partners, and funders about our work. Creating a content plan will enable us to rebuild our site to be more engaging, inspiring, and user-friendly.

Our mission
GripTape envisions a future in which youth-driven learning is a powerful force, playing a greater role for young people than that of formal learning environments. A world where all young people have the opportunity to pursue their own interests; demonstrate their confidence and competence by seizing their own learning; and where youth demand and are afforded respect for their own learning pursuits.
We offer youth-driven learning experiences through resources, respect, and authority for teenagers who have interests but often lack resources and opportunities so that they can pursue their interests and develop greater agency.
