What we'd like to talk about

I'd like strategic advice on our next steps for setting up a website for our organization. The Website needs to: Take Applicant Information, provide dates for upcoming events, provide info on programs

"Phone calls" are 1 hour, one-time calls with an organization. Learn the difference between volunteering on a Phone call and a Project here.

Our mission

Unite Here Chicago Hospitality Institute is a partnership between the UNITE HERE Local 1 labor union and hotel and food service employers in the Chicago area. The UHCHI apprenticeship program recruits current and future hospitality employees, primarily women, people of color and immigrants, as students of its first-class training program. Upon successful completion of the UHCHI apprenticeship program, graduates will be poised to move up the career ladder in high-quality hospitality jobs.

Testimonials

Andrew is knowledgeable and a pleasure to learn from. Not only did he provide us resources for next steps, answer all of our questions and provide a direction for our project, but he explained everything in simple steps and easy to understand terms, without being condescending. 10/10 would consult with again.

Website Phone call

I felt that I was able to help Andrew. He clearly communicated the current state of the project and what he needed help with in particular. Based on the requirements he gave me, I gave him the best options I could think of if I were in his situation. I also thought about where I would go to hire a developer in his situation and gave him my opinion/suggestions about that. I felt that it was a productive call and wish him the best of luck on the project.
