Additional details
I am looking for the right technology to set up an emergency contact and resource database for use in disasters. This system would allow us to identify which organizations have what resources available for use in a disaster and it would provide us with a communication system that allows us to communicate with the organizations in the database.
What we have in place
- We are currently using a Google spreadsheet to track emergency contacts and resources. I want to find a better system that allows me to track this information with easy search and sort capability. I also need the ability to communicate with the contacts in my database in a disaster.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,926 , allowing us to focus on disaster preparedness and building community resilience.
This system will allow us to connect with community resources quickly and efficiently in a disaster.

To foster effective service delivery to those affected by disasters in Marin County, CA through the collaboration of community agencies throughout the disaster cycle - mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery.
What we do
Marin VOAD (Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster) is a collaboration of non-profit and faith-based organizations, government and private business that mitigate and alleviate the impact of disasters. Through cooperation, communication, coordination and collaboration, VOADs foster stronger communities which result in disaster preparedness, response, and a more effective disaster recovery.
