Project details

What we need
  • Ongoing web development support for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
  • Support may include: website maintenance, updates or improvements
  • Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.
Additional details

We need two very specific updates to our website. One is simply taking a fillable pdf that is already on our site and adding a "Submit" button that sends the completed form to our email. The other is to duplicate a Jotform questionnaire (with permission) and add it to our site. Our website is mountainhomelesscoalition.com. The form is the Pathways Help Request form and the pdf is under Resources/Housing/MHC Housing Application. The host is WIX.

What we have in place
  • We currently have the form and questionnaire, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have background information, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,757 , allowing us to put up homeless individuals during the winter months and help with move-in costs when housing is found for a homeless or at-risk household in our mountain area.

It has been quite difficult for our homeless clients to navigate the form and save it on their phones and then send it to us. If they could just submit it with a click online, they would not slip through the cracks so easy. And the questionnaire results are currently going to an organization that has lost the resources to forward the forms to us and have given us permission to duplicate the form for our own use.
