Project details

What we need
  • Designs for a physical event collateral such as step-and-repeats, banners, tablecloths
  • Designs in appropriate formats for ordering with accurate, print-ready specifications
  • Recommendations on a vendor to create item
  • Note: This project does not include printing or ordering
What we have in place
  • We need help creating display materials for an exhibit about FoodCycle and the link between food waste and climate change. We have lots of photos and metrics to include and would like 2 posters to use in our booth
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to Feed more people and fight climate change

We plan to present this display at a booth outside a TedX Event at Manhattan Beach on November 6th

Prep: Information Sharing
  • Volunteer Manager provides the Professional with a budget for materials, finalized copy, high-resolution logo, and any visual branding guidelines to be utilized
  • Volunteer Manager also provides details and example images for desired deliverables (if applicable), examples of existing marketing materials and links to online presence (website and social media)
  • Volunteer Manager shares event branding guidelines (if applicable)

Milestone 1: Graphic Creation
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager discuss how print materials will be utilized, target audience, and style preferences
  • Professional develops preliminary sketches, and garners feedback from Volunteer Manager & makes adjustments as necessary

Milestone 2: Final Draft
  • Professional delivers the final versions in the desired electronic format
  • Professional provides guidance on printing specifications (colors, size, etc.)
  • Professional recommends vendor(s) for ordering physical items

FoodCycle LA is working to create systemic change and make sure that people are fed - not landfills. For almost 15 years, our community powered organization has recovered food that would otherwise be thrown away by grocery stores, restaurants, offices and farmers markets and delivered it to organizations that feed the hungry.
