What we need
  • A list of possible keywords (up to 50) with estimates on monthly search volume and cost per click
  • Recommendations on the most impactful keywords to target for Organization’s goals

We do not currently have search console integration enabled in our analytics. We are looking for someone who can:
1. Set up the search integration
2.Recommend keywords, and
3. Log into our wordpress website and using yoast, begin to optimize our pages by adding keywords and meta tags, etc.

What we have in place
  • We currently have analytics data to share, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have someone who can provide access to analytics/wordpress, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,757 , allowing us to have our staff focus on other projects that contribute to achieving our awareness and development goals.

Our organization has limited awareness in our community. We want those who need our services (low income & communities of color) in Marin County to be able to find us and know the full range of programs we have to support them. We also want others to partner with us, either to provide services, volunteer, or donate.

  • Volunteer Manager shares marketing & communications materials with Professional for context
  • (If available) Volunteer Manager shares credentials for Google Search Console, so Professional can assess current state of organic search

Milestone 1: Keyword list creation
  • Professional creates list of potential search keywords
  • Professional uses free tool like Google Keyword Planner or Ubersuggest to estimate monthly search volume & cost per click for every keyword
  • Professional recommends top keywords to target based on goals that were discussed
  • Volunteer Manager provides feedback on the list and requests additions, which Professional incorporates

Our mission

We make it possible for people to achieve wellbeing by providing the education, mental health, and vital services they need. Together, we break down the barriers that get int he way of fair and lasting change in service to better outcomes for all.

What we do

We're working to make Marin a place where all of us can live with dignity and respect and have an equal opportunity to support ourselves and each other. A third of households don't earn a sustainable income, and that rises to over half for people of color. Shockingly, a family of four now needs $130,000 a year to cover their basic needs, a 50% increase from 2014. With 20% of people earning $20,000 or less, this problem is only getting worse.

Our job is to fill in the gaps and help people lift themselves up. We cover unexpected financial emergencies so people can keep a roof over their heads and the lights on at home. We make sure kids can do well in school by making early childhood education and care affordable. We're removing the stigma of mental health challenges and getting people and their loved ones through times of crisis and we're helping people take charge of their money and grow their income so they can have a more secure future.

For over 50 years, we've been there when our community needed us most. We now offer more support to more people than any other organization in the county, but demand is growing every day. We're galvanizing our community to tackle these issues as a shared social responsibility so Marin can work for each and every one of us.
