New Employee Onboarding
New Employee Onboarding
Project details
What we need
- A written document that identifies the Organization's timeline, onboarding goals, recommended responsibilities and support for new hire success:
- An onboarding checklist and timeline template that can be completed by the Organization for each new hire
- A suggested checklist and template outlining onboarding methods the Organization should pursue to meet its goals (human resources and information technology materials, department presentations, mentor assignment, skill sharing, etc.)
- Recommendations on how to delegate onboarding responsibilities within the Organization or department, if applicable
- A short plan for communicating with the new hire prior to their first day of work
Additional details
We are in need of a uniformed and streamlined on-boarding process to effectively and efficiently integrate new team members. Determining a timeline and building out our current onboarding checklist/process will be most helpful.
What we have in place
- We currently have an onboarding checklist, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have an online platform where onboarding materials can be housed, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $8,686 , allowing us to recycle these funds internally within our org and put towards employee holiday gifts.
We take pride in our team members here at CRXLAB and want to be sure we are doing our due-diligence in equipping our staff with the adequate onboarding resources to be successful. We want our staff to understand our organization culture and values, feel comfortable and competent in their roles, and ultimately to be motivated to continue their impactful work.

Our mission
Our mission is to educate, train, and challenge Black and Latinx youth to become leaders in designing healthy and racially equitable communities. We're challenging the belief that only adults with titles (e.g. mayors, CEOs, etc.) have the power and right to challenge racial and health inequities. However, we're conscious that young leaders and adults alike must collectively design a world centered in equity.
