What we need
  • A 4-week content calendar for one social media platform, including graphics & copy (12-20 posts, or as agreed upon by both parties)
  • A content calendar template that can be used to plan out posts in the future
Additional details

Increase community awareness of the Mount Pleasant Public Schools Education Foundation- The Who/ How/ Why we exist with specific examples of recent fundraising efforts, how it is impacting our students, how donors can help. Make people excited about helping this cause in a visually exciting and informative burst of media content. Needs to be easy for a staff member to post on routine intervals

What we have in place
  • We currently have photos and data on our recent fundraisers, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have students within the school to acquire more photos, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to continue providing grants to our public school teachers for new materials and resources and continue working toward an endowment to sustain academic excellence

This non-profit assists over 3,500 public school students and teachers with grants to provide additional resources and materials, and funds an endowment. The community awareness of this foundation is rather poor and we'd like to significantly increase the awareness and excitement for education and what the foundation has done and will continue to do

  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss & agree upon target audiences, content types, and posting frequency

Milestone 1: Calendar Structure Creation
  • Professional uses Google Sheets, Excel, Airtable, or comparable software to set up content calendar structure
  • Volunteer Manager reviews and provides feedback, which Professional incorporates

Milestone 2: Content Creation
  • Volunteer Manager shares raw materials (photos, quotes, stories, etc) that Professional needs to create content
  • Professional creates up to 4 weeks’ worth of social media posts (approximately 12-20 posts) and inputs into calendar
  • Volunteer Manager reviews and provides feedback, which Professional incorporates

(Optional) Milestone 3: Content Scheduling / Software Setup
  • Professional connects Organization’s social media account to a scheduling software like Buffer or Hootsuite
  • Professional sets up and schedules up to 4 weeks of posts in scheduling software
