What we need
  • An edited 1-3 minute video delivered in electronic format as agreed upon between the Professional and Organization, with HD quality as a master version, along with any agreed upon formats for final usage

An edited 3-5 minute video delivered in electronic format as agreed upon between the Professional and Organization, with HD quality as a master version, along with any agreed upon formats for final usage. We will use this video to share with key stakeholders, including our board of directors. We are hoping to further energize our board and other stakeholders about our work this year. The video footage will draw from virtual event recordings from throughout the year. Deadline is 10/8/21.

What we have in place
  • We have several videos from which you can pull clips, as well as an idea of quotes/clips we are already thinking about including to highlight the year's progress for us. We also have a brand book and older videos we have used in the past as guidance on the look and feel we're hoping for.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,422 , allowing us to provide our civics curricula to 2 classrooms, which includes professional development for 2 amazing civics teachers & a semester of engaging, experiential civics learning for underserved students.

We want our Board and major donors to feel engaged and proud of the impact their support has on our students and teachers, as well as the community we are building around our organization. This video will help encapsulate that for future giving campaigns as well.

Prep: Information Sharing & Asset Exchange
  • Volunteer Manager provides overview of vision and goals for video, as well as information about target audience
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional agree upon file format and length of video
  • Volunteer Manager collects collateral (e.g. raw video footage, photos, testimonials, media materials) to be edited into the video, and digitizes all the materials in the format and resolution suggested by the professional. If applicable, the Organization provides links to 3-5 videos it would like the professional to use as a creative guideline for the final product

Milestone 1: Video Outline & Script Finalization
  • Professional reviews assets that the Organization shared (including existing footage and proposed script) to create video outline
  • Professional shares with Organization and incorporates feedback

Milestone 2: Video Creation & Feedback
  • Professional creates video in agreed upon format and shares with Organization for feedback (up to 2 rounds)

  • Professional delivers final video in agreed upon format
