What we'd like to talk about

I am looking for advice on using the (free for non-profits) Microsoft 365 Business Basic plan.

Additional context

Quite a while ago, pre-pandemic we applied and got the free then called 'Office 365 Nonprofit Business Essentials' which is now 'Microsoft 365 Business Basic' through tech soup. I am hoping to find somebody who can explain to us what else we can do with this free access to take full advantage of all the potential options.

Currently we are basically just using the one drive storage mainly for 3 to 4 GB video files and cloud back-up. I know there is much more we can do with it, but my tired brain does not have the bandwidth of exploring the tech jargon in the internet jungle out there. If you have an hour to spare and some advise, I would love to talk with you.

"Phone calls" are 1 hour, one-time calls with an organization. Learn the difference between volunteering on a Phone call and a Project here.

Our mission

Kokua Mau's vision is a community where the people of Hawai`i are treated with dignity, compassion and love throughout their lives. (This is Kokua Mau's highest aspiration.)

To make that vision a reality, our mission is to weave a lei of caregiving and support so that the people of Hawai`i facing serious illness can live in the place of their choice, with relief of pain and suffering, and according to their values, beliefs and traditions.

What we do

Kokua Mau has a three-fold approach to achieving our goals.

1. We support people who may be facing serious illness and their loved ones by providing information to help them understand decisions they may need to make and find resources and information in our community.
2. We provide education and networking to professionals.
3. Bringing about policy and systems change. We partner with hospitals and health plans to advise, advocate, train and educate for change.
4. Providing relevant up-to-date information about COVID-19 for our network kept us incredibly busy for over a year.

We're launching an ambitious program to increase our impact by getting our community talking about people's wishes for care where they work, live and pray. We'll need to develop appropriate messages and campaigns for Hawaii's diverse and vibrant population.

Testimonials

Talking with Anita was a pleasure. It is great to talk with a sympathetic outsider that can ask questions from a different vantage point. It triggered quite a chain reaction in my thought process that will require actively implementing some new ideas. With her help I could also determine what We do not need, because free for community benefit organizations does not mean is is a good fit by default.
