Project details

What we need
  • Print-ready designed brochure template provided in a high-resolution format (jpeg, pdf, etc.)
  • Collateral, to be used in conjunction with the Brochure Writing project, for new marketing materials
  • Accurate, print-ready specifications
  • Note: This project does not include printing
Additional details

We need a brochure that is easy to follow and is visually appealing. The purpose of the brochures is to increase the understanding of our program process. All of our homeowners are either veterans, elderly, or have a disability and therefore need lots of support. We try our best to help by providing critical home repairs that include electrical, plumbing, accessibly, and carpentry modifications. In addition provide yearly chore services such as snow removal and lawn mowing!

What we have in place
  • Currently our partners and homeowners can check out our website, flyer, or give us a call if they need additional information on our program. We currently do not have any brochures for our homeowners that describe our application process.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to hire more contractors to increase the volume of homes we repair during our homeowners time of most need!

As the only providers of free critical home repair services we receive a high volume daily of calls asking how our application process works and what the next steps are after their application has been approved and processed. With the brochures we can help lay out next steps for our homeowners and partners who have general questions about our program.

Our mission

Transform communities by providing free, critical repairs and comprehensive services to low-income veterans, seniors, and people with disabilities. Our impact extends beyond individuals served, to revitalizing and stabilizing vulnerable neighborhoods.
HOME BY HOME, BLOCK BY BLOCK, ENTIRE COMMUNITIES ARE TRANSFORMED.

What we do

Revitalize Milwaukee is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose goal is to preserve affordable housing and revitalize vulnerable neighborhoods throughout Milwaukee and Waukesha counties. We are the largest provider of free home repairs to eligible homeowners in Southeast Wisconsin and the only one that provides them for free. While we directly impact individuals and families, we also improve economic stability by keeping long-term, existing homeowners in their homes. This stabilizes neighborhoods and the tax base paid to the city.

Over time, health and safety issues develop from the inability to pay for repairs and other necessary services. Without our free services, many Milwaukee residents would suffer serious injuries or even be forced to move out of their homes that they've lived in for over 30 years.

We employ 15-17 City of Milwaukee licensed and insured minority contractors on a daily basis, providing sustainable wages and helping the local economy.

We operate on an annual budget of 1.7 million dollars. Each dollar received is leveraged approximately 4:1, creating a total reinvestment of $18.2 million dollars back into the community. Over 99% of our funding comes from private sources (grants, corporations, and individuals). Currently, government funding is limited to 0.9% of the budget.
