What we'd like to talk about

I'd like some help with understanding what kinds of insurance (such as general liability, non-owned auto, D&O) I should look into purchasing for my organization.

Additional context

We will be required to get liability insurance at a minimum, if we secure a grant that we had applied for. We also have a volunteer driving around picking up donations on our behalf. We are a very small organization however, with an annual cash budget of <$5K and assets of <$20K. I want to better understand what our risk exposure is, and the timing for purchasing insurance. Thank you so much :)

"Phone calls" are 1 hour, one-time calls with an organization. Learn the difference between volunteering on a Phone call and a Project here.

Our mission

We improve the quality of life of Hawaii's breast cancer community by connecting them with relevant resources and meaningful support.

What we do

We publish curated resources through our website and social media, facilitate educational events, conduct one-on-one peer support, and host a variety of creative in-person programming.

Our latest program is the CARE Closet (Community Access to Reusable Equipment) where we connect donations of new and gently used items such as wedge pillows, wigs, and resource books to patients in treatment.
