What we need
- A professionally designed online survey ready to use (set up with Google Forms, SurveyMonkey, Typeform, SurveyLegend, or other tool)
- Training to equip staff to execute and manage survey
Additional details
WLH is in need of unbiased built surveys with the goal of gaining honest feedback in order for the organization to grow into improvement. WLH is in need of two separate surveys, one for the families served to understand how the programs are doing, and one for volunteers to ensure there is full satisfaction. WLH has sent out prior surveys using Google Forms and Airtable - both seem to be good platforms, we just want to ensure we are receiving feedback that can be measured and worked through.
What we have in place
- We currently have clear goals of what we would like to learn from the surveys, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have an old parent survey, a recent volunteer survey, eager staff, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,828 , allowing us to throw an entire Christmas event for over 500 people. This event is a time for Hero families to connect and a time of joy for children with life-threatening illnesses.
It is always an overlying goal of WLH to best serve families in whatever capacity they need. In order to do this, WLH needs to understand what families like, dislike, want or need. On top of this, WLH is working through a strategic plan. In order to measure progress toward our organizational goals, we need honest feedback from our key stakeholders: volunteers, board members, and families.

Our mission
Wichita's Littlest Heroes exists to provide hope, help, and happiness to families with children ages 0-18 in the Kansas area who are battling different life-threatening medical conditions. WLH strives to accomplish this by being a physical and emotional presence for the whole family. Through partnerships with other nonprofits, individuals, and businesses, we help fill the gaps. We provide education, resources, advocacy, celebration, and free, fun family activities.
What we do
WLH was founded due to the lack of direct resources and support for families that quickly have their worlds turned upside down when their child is diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition. WLH works tirelessly to ensure families across Kansas are connected, supported, and overall taken care of. Where others say no, WLH seeks to say yes. It is vital to this organization that no family fights these medical complex journeys alone.
