Project details
What we need
- A high-resolution digital version of an illustration that can be used across multiple channels (web, print, and/or merchandising)
Additional details
I'm from Tip of the Mitt Watershed Council in Petoskey, Michigan. We're looking for someone to make an infographic that shows why the proposed Line 5 tunnel beneath the Straits of Mackinac that will carry oil and gas has the potential to harm the environment and economy of northern Michigan. What we're seeking is a full-color graphic that we could use in print and online that shows the Straits area from above (kind of realistic style) with text boxes.
What we have in place
- We currently have pics of the area, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have some text we're producing, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to pay for staff time to continue our campaign against Line 5 and other threats to our waters.
Some of our membership doesn't understand why we're opposed to the Line 5 tunnel. We want something that is beautiful and easy to understand so that people can see the importance of our opposition. The Straits of Mackinac are a biologically diverse and unique area and not a good place to put a pipeline tunnel.
