What we need
  • An easily understood visual aid that communicates complex information
  • A high-resolution version of the Infographic in the Organization’s preferred format
Additional details

We would like to develop two infographics: one on the impact of violence on the individual and community; the other on the impact of hospital-based violence interventions (HVIPs) on recent survivors of gun violence.

What we have in place
  • We currently have visual brand guidelines, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have data on gun violence and HVIPs, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to provide childcare to group participants, removing a significant barrier to care.

This project will help the community, potential clients, and potential funders or volunteers understand the value of our work and its potential impact.

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss the objective of the infographic, key audiences, and style preferences (if any)
  • Volunteer Manager shares examples of infographics they like with the Professional
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with data or other source of information to draw from

Milestone 1: Preliminary Sketching
  • Professional develops three drafted concepts to share with the Organization
  • Volunteer Manager chooses one draft as a primary concept and provides feedback

Milestone 2: Graphic Creation
  • Professional provides Volunteer Manager with first draft of Infographic
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with up to two rounds feedback

Milestone 3: Presentation of Deliverables
  • Professional delivers the final version of the Infographic including specifications for usage (colors, size, etc.)

Our mission

To heal the psychological and emotional impact of homicides and reduce trauma-related reactive violence in the City of Chester, PA

What we do

We provide trauma-informed therapy to City of Chester families where a loved one has been assaulted or murdered. Participating families receive case-management support, as well as door-to-door transportation to appointments, childcare, and supper on therapy nights.

We also work collaboratively with other violence prevention organizations to enhance the collective impact of our work to transform the City of Chester.

We believe wholeheartedly in the possibility of recovery from trauma, we believe in the creativity and resilience of our community, and we also believe in our capacity to create change.
