Zapier Specialist
We're working towards a more efficient Uptown Stories! To that end, we're looking for a techie that has solid experience with Zapier. We are in need of some zaps that will move our data from QBO and RegFox to Airtable. If you have Zapier experience, we would definitely appreciate hearing from you.
What we have in place
- We currently have QBO and RegFox, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have started laying the ground work for Airtable, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,926 , allowing us to the salary of two of our rockstar teachers this fall, who guide and mentor more than 30 young writers in Washington Heights. Thank you!!
Right now, we're manually moving data from QBO and RegFox to Google Sheets for tracking and visualization purposes. This can take hours every month, and for a three person staff, that is precious time. Even more importantly, because of the number of steps, we know mistakes and inconsistencies exist. When you're applying for funding accuracy is key - and we would love to get some of our time back, while being more on the nose with our data.

At Uptown Stories, we believe that writing is an essential tool for self-expression, critical thinking, and academic success.
Based in upper Manhattan, we offer small-group writing workshops for children ages eight to fifteen, led by master teachers and professional authors. To ensure our workshops are accessible to all children, tuition is pay-what-you-can.
Whether your child is a struggling writer or an aspiring novelist, Uptown Stories creates an exciting, challenging, and supportive community in which young authors thrive.
