What we need
  • 3-5 one hour strategy sessions with a marketing professional covering topics like marketing channels, messaging, branding and target audiences
  • A written summary of marketing goals, target audiences and channels to prioritize
  • A starter plan of recommendations & actionable next steps to begin executing your strategy
  • Note: This project does not include the creation of content such as emails, print materials, or social media posts
Additional details

We are looking for someone to assist us in creating a M&C plan from scratch. This includes conducting interviews with key members, research and collect a list of partners to connect with, provide a M&C plan for our programs and events, and provide expertise and direction.

The ideal person for this task would be someone who's comfortable jumping right into the project and has a good knowledge based on various M&C approaches. There are more defined deliverables that can be shared.

  • We have a detailed project description with deliverables that can help you get started. There are also plenty of people we want you to interview that will help you as well in creating the plan.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,998 , allowing us to market our programs more effectively and to reach more Veterans.

Critical to the success of HMV and it's goal to provide meaningful employment to Veterans is awareness and understanding of our services. Currently, we do not have a formal M&C plan. By creating a formal plan for leadership to follow, we hope to strengthen existing partnerships, make new ones, and increase attendance of our programs.

Mentorship Program Coordinator

Our mission

Hire MI Vet is a community initiative dedicated to providing Veterans and their families with meaningful employment.

What we do

Hire MI Vet is a nonprofit charity that provides employment related services for Veterans and their families. We have three main initiatives that we focus on:

1) Networking Program - monthly meetings between veterans and employers in an informal venue permitting veterans to get to know the employers, ask questions and determine which employers are a match for them.

2) Mentorship Program, which matches Veterans with mentors to support them as they navigate the employment world; this ranges from resume to mock interview support.

3) Annual Hiring Event where a diverse group of companies looking to hire Veterans participate in a formal event.
