What we have in place
- We currently have TONS of content!, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a Hootsuite account, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to Hire Black Women in the state to lead the work
We are so excited about our success in New Orleans being the first city in the deep south to pass an Anti-Race Based hair discrimination ordinance! We are now shooting to be the first state in the South!! HB 382 is Sponsored by State Representative Candace N. Newell Democrat District 99. Closely aligned with both Senator Troy Carter's and State Representative Tammy T. Phelps District 3's CROWN Act, HB 382's language goes a bit deeper to ensure that Natural hair protection addresses issues relate

Our mission
SHE builds an aligned base of Black women who inform, advocate for, and enact a collective policy agenda to address the needs of Black women across the state of Louisiana. SHE believes that change is made when Black women in Louisiana set the policy agenda, build their leadership capacities to educate policymakers around their agenda, and educate voters to support decision makers who are aligned with their agenda.
