Storytelling
Storytelling
Project details
What we need
- A compelling narrative, or set of stories
- Persuasive copy that can be used in appeals to donors, annual reports, grant applications, and media relations
- Popular examples: Organization's founding story, a program achievement or milestone, a look back at the past few years, organizational backgrounder, etc.
- Note: This project is not intended to support your general content planning or marketing but there are several projects in our Marketing & Communications category which are a good fit!
Additional details
The Able Trust has many short success stories that have been submitted as part of progress reports on grant funded programs. All the submitted stories have a different voice and style as submitted because (not a surprise) they have been written by many different people. We would like to have a bank of stories ready to go for social media and reports that reflect what we support and are consistent in presentation.
What we have in place
- We currently have many stories to work with, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have some photos to go with stories, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to leverage the stories into more opportunities for more individuals to gain employment, promotions, and success.
The Able Trust needs to be able to our story which centers on employment for people with disabilities in Florida. We have many raw detail stories, but no consistent story voice and we are looking for some expert help! We would like to tell the stories of the youth and adult recipients of support as well as offer stories from an employer's point of view or other such partner. Success sells success and we want to get the word out!

Testimonials
Giovanni has such a thoughtful approach to writing projects. I really appreciated her style and enthusiasm for writing with a purpose.
The Able Trust had various resources to help in the task. They were also open to hearing my other ideas in their data collection. I would gladly work with them again.
