Website Content Audit
Website Content Audit
Project details
What we need
- Inventory and assessment of Organization's existing website content
- Recommendations of new content according to communication goals
- Note: This project does not include feedback on a website's layout and design. For support in that area, please check out our Website Usability Audit project
Additional details
We are planning a website re-design and are looking to update our content to best reflect where we are as an organization in 2021. We are looking for a full evaluation of our organization's existing content and recommendations on improvements and new content so that we can better serve our audience and reach our goals.
What we have in place
- We currently have an existing website with a target goals and audience, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have analytics and a dedicated staff member, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,650 , allowing us to continue focusing our funding towards the technology and personnel costs involved in pivoting our one-on-one mentoring program to the virtual space.
This project will be vital in helping our organization understand how we can improve our website's content so we can communicate to our key stakeholders and prospective supporters and, ultimately, provide them with a clear understanding of who we are, what we do, and how they can support with content that is SEO optimized, clear, concise and reflects our organization's values.
Project plan
Our mission
Read to a Child is a national literacy and mentoring non-profit that fosters a love of reading, improves literacy skills, and empowers underserved children by inspiring adults to read aloud to them regularly. The organization strives to provide equal opportunity for success to all children through inspirational literacy and mentoring programs.
What we do
In Read to a Child's Read Aloud Mentoring Program, an adult is partnered one-on-one with an at-risk elementary school student for a rewarding read aloud experience. The relationship typically lasts for the entire school year and often extends for multiple years through the end of fourth grade. The simple act of reading aloud to a child once a week, over time, can have a profound impact on the child's future. The Read Aloud Mentoring Program also offers the adult a convenient, joyful, and meaningful way to give back.
