What we'd like to talk about
I want to brainstorm ideas for a summer or fall event; and maybe multiple. We skipped events in 2020 due to Covid-19. And want to maximize our opportunities.
Additional context
Our traditional gala has been themed around giving alumni awards. It presents some challenges in messaging - celebrate our accomplished alums, but give to our current causes that our youth and students need today. Also - if we do something that's a hybrid, or virtual, we feel like it needs to be very entertaining ala the old Jerry Lewis Telethon style or modern day equivalent.
"Phone calls" are 1 hour, one-time calls with an organization. Learn the difference between volunteering on a Phone call and a Project here.

The MPS Foundation provides equitable opportunities for Milwaukee Public School students by inspiring the community - philanthropic and business partners, alumni, parents, and community individuals to ensure our students have all the resources necessary for the 21 Century success and to achieve great things.
