Project details

What we need
  • Audit of the existing systems and processes; the audit is limited to hiring and termination practices, work scheduling, payroll processing, benefits administration, insurance, and compliance with federal and state employment laws
  • Recommendation for process improvements and software providers (if necessary)
  • Implementation of chosen software (if necessary)
  • Training on maintenance tasks
Additional details

We currently have a few software systems in place (O365, Google Workspace, Notion) and would like some recommendations to streamline some processes and set up a better internal directory.

What we have in place
  • We currently use O365 as our source of truth for user data. We have semi-automated IT onboarding processes using Power Automate. Google Workspace is setup to automatically provision/sync based on O365.

The main thing we'd like to change is that we currently have a Google Sheet that serves as our "volunteer directory." This is not ideal(tm) because it doesn't stay in sync and also exposes to much PII to everyone in the organization (including phone numbers and personal emails).
How this will help
This project will save us $6,746 , allowing us to serve our organization's mission.

We hope to improve and streamline our HR systems to enable easier onboarding and discoverability and decrease the cost of maintenance going forward. This will let the rest of the organization operate more efficiently and with fewer obstacles to accomplishing their goals.
