Project details

What we need
  • A written analysis of the Organization's position in the community it serves and its ability to address identified needs/problems for its beneficiaries
  • A summary of the Organization's strengths and weaknesses, related to its program goals as needed
  • A summary of competitors or potential collaborators
  • An appendix of all data gathered to perform analysis, including sources
Additional details

Specifically, we are looking for a landscape analysis of 1) private funders and investors responding to the needs of Venezuelan migrants in the Americas, and 2) migrant-led and/or serving grassroots organizations that are engaged in human rights-centered frontline work that is focused on systemic change. We hope to see: 1) raw data from research, 2) a visual mapping of the findings, 3) ideas for sharing out findings and making them semi open source. SPANISH language skills will be needed.

What we have in place
  • We currently have resources and lists to begin research, including contacts, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a committed staff person to channel info & make connections, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $10,948 , allowing us to continue resourcing front line organizations providing necessary services to Venezuelan migrants, and to ensure these partners garner attention in media and philanthropy.

The reality of Venezuelan migration gets limited attention and lacks significant funding to support humanitarian and long-term integration needs. Our work serves to both inform donors and funders about unique opportunities to support just migration, and to amplify and resource the work of frontline service providers who have a systems change lens regarding migration and human rights. This project will provide critical information to stakeholders and further transparency.
