We’re celebrating National Volunteer Month & the incredible 762,592 hours given by Catchafire volunteers! Nonprofits wanted to say thank you - watch the video!
Our environmental education organization is in need of a plan for training and onboarding new staff and volunteers. We are hoping to create a specific plan that can be repeated with each new hire in order to effectively train staff and volunteers in how to lead our programs.
Our hope with this project is to streamline our new staff and volunteer training and onboarding process, so that all new hires feel confident in leading our educational programs. We hope that by making this process more smooth and consistent, new hires will feel more welcome within our organization.
The Mission of the Cooper Center is to serve Southern Arizona as a leader in:
-Increasing ecological understandings and deepening feelings for the natural world,
-Providing hands-on, research-based programs in science and earth education,
-Creating lifelong memories through our overnight and multi-night experiences;
-Inspiring learners of all ages, from children to university students to adults, to live more lightly in our Sonoran Desert community and beyond.
