Project details

What we need
  • Training goals for a specific population (volunteers, staff, program participants, etc.)
  • Advice on what training methods the Organization should pursue to meet its goals (webinars, lectures, print materials, etc.)
  • Suggestions for curriculum design, creative messaging, call to actions, methods and timeline
  • Budget for implementation (taking the Organization’s resource constraints into consideration)
  • A written document that summarizes objectives, strategies and actions steps
Additional details

Our environmental education organization is in need of a plan for training and onboarding new staff and volunteers. We are hoping to create a specific plan that can be repeated with each new hire in order to effectively train staff and volunteers in how to lead our programs.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a draft of our employee handbook, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have staff anecdotes of our own training/onboarding experiences, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,000 , allowing us to provide the funds for approximately 600 students to participate in our programs for free.

Our hope with this project is to streamline our new staff and volunteer training and onboarding process, so that all new hires feel confident in leading our educational programs. We hope that by making this process more smooth and consistent, new hires will feel more welcome within our organization.
