We’re celebrating National Volunteer Month & the incredible 762,592 hours given by Catchafire volunteers! Nonprofits wanted to say thank you - watch the video!
We need help recruiting talent, particularly direct care staff. We have lots of raw footage, but need help to edit into a compelling reason our target job seeker will come to this non profit.
Direct care staff are the backbone of our organization. As we prepare to fully open all educational and vocational services that were suspended because of the pandemic, we find ourselves with a talent shortage. It is very difficult to compete with for profit businesses. Caregivers are essential workers, and needed now more than ever as people with disabilities deal with the mental and emotional toll of their social isolation for the past year.
To empower people with disabilities to lead the lives they choose.
MacDonald Training Center (MTC) transforms lives through innovations in vocational training, employment pathways, residential supports and life enrichment opportunities.
MacDonald Training Center is a private- 501(c)( 3) non profit, established in 1953 by J. Clifford MacDonald, as one of the first pre-schools in our nation for children with disabilities. A tireless advocate for full inclusion for people with disabilities, Mr. MacDonald received the Presidential Medal of Freedom and served as Chair of the National Committee for Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment. We honor his legacy.
Ben captured the message beautifully! He took our b-roll footage and edited it into a strong promotional video. And he finished the project in two days! We couldn't be more pleased...and grateful.
I enjoyed working with the MacDonald Training Center very much, and as I got to see what they were all about, their story resonated with me in a way I've never felt before. I hope to work with a similar organization that is in partnership with Catchafire in the near future.
