What we need
  • 3-5 one hour strategy sessions with a marketing professional covering topics like marketing channels, messaging, branding and target audiences
  • A written summary of marketing goals, target audiences and channels to prioritize
  • A starter plan of recommendations & actionable next steps to begin executing your strategy
  • Note: This project does not include the creation of content such as emails, print materials, or social media posts

We are looking to do boost marketing for our Virtual Gala on 4/15/21. We are hoping that someone can help us create a plan for us, beyond our social media posts, to drive attendees and supporters to RSVP and attend the virtual event.

What we have in place
  • We currently have graphics and other assets, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a current social media plan, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,998 , allowing us to provide an additional number of public school teacher minigrants as a result of the fundraising for this Gala.

Our Gala is both a celebration and a fundraising opportunity with revenues going towards our A to Z Mini Grant Fund for all public school teachers in Oakland.

The Oakland Public Education Fund leads the development and investment of
community resources in Oakland public schools so that all students can
learn, grow, and thrive.

What we do

The Ed Fund is the only organization raising money for all Oakland public
schools. Since 2003, we have raised more than $50 million for programs that
help students thrive. We put the right tools in students’ hands to give all
kids the excellent education they deserve.

We support all Oakland public schools—both District-run and charter—with a
focus on those furthest from opportunity, because kids who come to school
with less need more.
