What we need
- A concise, well-articulated letter (not exceeding two pages) to request funds from individual donors
Additional details
Our organization needs to raise $26,000. matching grant with our local Community Foundation. The idea is to have each person contacted to raise $500. If we can reach 50 people to give or raise $500 we will have met the goal.
What we have in place
- The marketing materials are lacking to promote this fundraising goal. I currently have a list of potential donors but would like to gather additional. I'm clear on the purpose and the mission of our organization.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,140 , allowing us to use the funds to support a home repair program and ramps for older adults.
If we can raise our portion of the $26,000 and the foundation comes through we can then build a home and sell it to a family at fair market value. This will generate and literally jump-start our ability to build the next home for a qualified family.
