What we'd like to talk about
Can't do in-person events any more, so we must shift everything online. Website must be 100% apolitical, containing genl. info & a robust curriculum platform. Expect country-specific limitations.
Additional context
The website needs to be visually appropriate and attractive for the Myanmar and Southeast Asia context. There will also be internet speed and connectivity factors specific to Myanmar. All of the Myanmar traffic is likely to be by handheld device, usually originated through Facebook.
"Phone calls" are 1 hour, one-time calls with an organization. Learn the difference between volunteering on a Phone call and a Project here.
Our mission
A pioneer in leadership development in Myanmar, the DeBoer Fellowship equips a large network of competent, compassionate, and ethical leaders.
What we do
Started in 2014, the DeBoer Fellowship is a training program that helps high-potential Myanmar (formerly Burma) men and women become important change agents in their country. Each year, a class of 40+ DeBoer Fellows learn servant leadership, critical thinking, transparency, collaboration, confidence, influence, and advocacy. DeBoer Fellows are widely known for their strong leadership in nonprofits, businesses, and communities.

Testimonials
David was extraordinary. He was thoroughly prepared and was able to jump right in on substantive issues. I was flabbergasted with both his breadth and depth of knowledge, including significant mastery of very arcane facts about the remote area that my organization serves. In addition, he brought such experience with both education and internet issues, that he and I were able to dart all around in our conversation. He was thorough and disciplined, bringing up different topics and making sure we dispatched with them. He made sure that his comments were very practical and applicable. He even challenged my assumptions and conclusions, and I liked that because he was right! I would LOVE to talk to David further, and he was very clear in setting expectations. I hope I can get more of his time. I will share my notes from David's and my call with all of my colleagues, and hope that they and I can have a call with David in the near future. After twelve years in my position, I know how hard it has been to find consultants who grasp the complexities of our context and its ever-changing needs. David picked up on all of that within forty minutes, and we were able quickly to have a very productive discussion. I felt the call was exceedingly productive, we teed up lots of important issues, and I have a lot to work with right away.
