Flexible Graphic Design Support

What we need
  • Ongoing graphic design support for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
  • Support may include: logo design, flyer design, branded assets for social media
  • Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.
Additional details

We seek graphic design support to help prepare an Arabic-language guide on alternatives to incarceration that will be used by defense lawyers in Tunisia. We need to: (a) at a minimum, improve 5 graphic elements (4 diagrams & 1 chart); and (b) if possible, generally improve layout for the whole document, currently 45 pages in Word. The document is in Arabic, and design will require the ability to work with Arabic fonts / right-to-left reading flow.

What we have in place
  • We currently have the final manual text with the 5 basic graphic elements, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have English-Arabic translation staff, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to invest more money in legal training, community outreach, and holistic defense services around the world.

This practical guide will be used to train lawyers across Tunisia on how to reduce the overuse of prison by promoting diversion and alternative sentences. This is especially important now during this pandemic, and we hope the guide can be a resource for defense lawyers across the Arab world.

  • Volunteer delivers ongoing support according to determined outline
  • Weekly check-ins to ensure support is being offered as agreed upon by both parties

Step 2: Training & Offboarding
  • Volunteer provides any relevant training to the Volunteer Manager to help them continue work, as necessary, after 4 weeks
