Project details

What we need
  • Setup of Google Analytics account and tracking codes for web assets (e.g. mobile apps, website, blog, social media)
  • Training on how to track performance, set up reports and analyze the data collected online
  • Set of guidelines for data collection, interpretation and analysis

We need to create and integrate Google Analytics into our current website.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a website, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a GSuite for Nonprofits account, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,772 , allowing us to continue providing funding to our team which is operating remotely on small stipends.

This will be incredibly helpful for our organization because we operate on a primarily online platform. Having this tool will provide metrics that we can capture to (1) update our current marketing plan, (2) increase donor relation awareness, and (3) ultimately determine our success measurements.

Prep: Information Sharing & Goal Setting
  • Volunteer Manager gives overview of any current use of online statistics and shares admin details for existing Google Analytics account (if it exists)
  • Professional connects with Volunteer Manager for a brainstorming/overview session, to discuss goals, current web platforms, and existing data on statistics (if any)
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager outline next steps and timeline for the project

Milestone 1: Tracking Setup
  • Professional explains basics of getting started with Google Analytics and sets up tracking codes based on the Organization’s goals
  • Professional trains Volunteer Manager on setting up reports to collect desired data
  • Professional reviews implementation of tracking codes to ensure they are working and helps troubleshoot as needed

Milestone 2: Training
  • Professional creates guidelines for data interpretation and analysis, and shares any tips for continued used of Google Analytics
  • Professional reviews above guidelines and tips with Volunteer Manager
  • Professional is available for up to two weeks to address questions as Volunteer Manager starts to regularly monitor analytics

Lone Star Parity Project is advancing women+ in Texas politics by amplifying voices and magnifying research.

Starting in the largest and most diverse battleground state, we are building a grassroots coalition in the Lone Star state and creating a blueprint for other states to follow.

What we do

Lone Star Parity Project is the leading entity to aggregate these numbers and stories statewide. Our novel approach builds the most comprehensive database of its kind that informs on regional differences of how many women file, run, and win public office. No one knows how many women and femmes make up the thousands of countywide, judicial, and municipal seats across 254 counties in Texas. By shedding light on all levels of government, we elevate the power of grassroots organizing to push women+ higher in their political careers and encourage others to step in.
