What we need
  • A compelling narrative, or set of stories
  • Persuasive copy that can be used in appeals to donors, annual reports, grant applications, and media relations
  • Popular examples: Organization's founding story, a program achievement or milestone, a look back at the past few years, organizational backgrounder, etc.
  • Note: This project is not intended to support your general content planning or marketing but there are several projects in our Marketing & Communications category which are a good fit!

When we go to a meeting or present about our organization we don't have materials that tell our story. We need to create a document or one page sheet or annual report that tells us story past, present and future. This is the first step.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a rich history of 26 years and many wonderful partners, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have infographics, photographs, data and statistics, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to to help our partner agencies in the life saving work they do and provide us with resources to help with COVID-19 initiatives and our flagship gift program.

People know about us thorough word of mouth and reputation however when we need to speak to someone new about Flames of Giving we put together a folder with a few infographics and articles written about us. We need a more professional comprehensive approach to tell our story so we can share it more easily, broadly and consistantly.

Our mission

Flames of Giving provides gifts for those in need during life's special moments. We have been doing this work for almost 29 years. Over 35,000 gifts have been provided to underserved and struggling people bringing hope and happiness to each person during challenging times. We also provide everyday basics like diapers, clothing, coats and grocery gift cards for food to those who are financially struggling and are going through difficult times. "One small gift. Two happy hearts."
