Project details

What we need
  • A Membership Strategy document of 2-4 pages, including analysis of the Organization’s current membership program, step-by-step guide to a new or improved program, growth goals and creative outreach strategies
Additional details

Membership is the biggest priority of our organization and we have struggled, especially in this year, to maintain good numbers of boys in our organization. While kids do stay year over year, getting in touch with families to join has been difficult. We need to bolster our strategies to adapt to modern times and look at new avenues for recruitment.

What we have in place
  • Our staff is small, but dedicated to this project. Our director and board president will work with our office manager on this project. We have a current plan and strategy that we can share - things that have worked and not worked. We are a long-standing organization and we need some help to make sure we can sustain our membership numbers well into the future.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,848 , allowing us to bolster our financial assistance program. Every dollar saved goes directly to a boy, we never turn anyone away due to finance, everyone is welcome to participate regardless of financial situation.

Our number one goal is to reach as many families in the Tucson area. Music is an extremely important facet in any education. For us, the program is at the base about music, but there is much more happening that just singing. We teach boys musical, social, and leadership skills. Our alumni often say how important the Chorus was in helping shape who they are today. We want to represent our community as a cultural resource and provide an important service to boys.
