Process Assessment
Process Assessment
Project details
What we need
- Analysis of the current process and creation of a current state map
- A document outlining potential goals of process improvement
Additional details
We are looking to make our donor acknowledgement system more efficient. We currently have our donor/donation information tracked in DonorPerfect, and we use this system to do a combination of thank-you's by mail and by email. Because the system is relatively new, there are many inefficiencies holding us back. We want to make this process more efficient, starting with an identification of inconsistencies and moving onto a plan of action.
What we have in place
- I can provide you with access to our donor database (upon signature of a non-disclosure agreement), along with a guide for how donations are inputted and thanked. I will also provide (over the phone or by email) an account of how each thank-you is dealt with based on the nature of the donation. Whatever else you think you'll need just ask and I'll see what I can put together for you.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,868 , allowing us to focus more time on attracting new donors for our meaningful work.
Our organization works to relieve food and housing insecurity in a large county in PA, USA. In normal times our work is important, but with COVID adding significant pressure on the budgets of present and future clients, the stakes are higher than ever. We've received more donations in the past year than ever before, and would like to maintain and build on our new donorbase in the coming years with a replicable acknowledgement process. This will enable us to better support our community.
Project plan
Our mission
Bucks County Housing Group (BCHG) works to advance the interests of homeless and low-income individuals and families and people in crisis in securing safe, affordable housing in the community.
What we do
Bucks County Housing Group provides an array of social services to homeless and at-risk families participating in our Supportive Housing Programs, several of which are community-based. We have specialized Transition Age Youth Shared Living and Frail Elders Housing Programs. Diversion Case Management is available to those whose housing crises can be resolved quickly and without entry into a formal program. BCHG operates three community food pantries which serve thousands of county residents each year. The organization owns/manages 80 units of affordable housing concentrated in the lower portion of Bucks County. Our no-cost First-time Homebuyers' Counseling Program and Veterans Housing Assistance Program round out the many facets of Bucks County Housing Group. BCHG is an active member of the local Housing Continuum of Care, a partner in the Housing Link, Bucks County's centralized intake and assessment system, and readily collaborates with sister social services agencies to ensure those in need receive prompt and appropriate services.
Testimonials
Brian was a great volunteer and such pleasure to work with. He's helped me a lot inside and outside of the fundraising process, and I've already benefited from his help. His work was professional and will help to advocate for any of the larger changes we need to make in the near future. I hope we can stay connected in the future.
I thoroughly enjoyed working with this fine organization. Nick was very easy to work with and a great guy. Bucks County Housing Group is an organization that does incredible work in its community.
