Project details

What we need
  • A Salesforce database including basic contact and organization information along with essential pipeline management processes.
  • A customized set of Salesforce objects, single-record editing of data (up to 15 object types)
  • A customized set of reports to pull data from multiple object types (up to 15 reports)
  • Importing of existing contact data into Salesforce from .csv files
  • Integration with Constant Contact, PayPal, and (possibly) Quickbooks
  • Training for designated staff member on new objects, reports and views
  • “Hand-off” documentation on the object schemas and any custom code although our goal is to minimize custom code.
What we have in place
  • We have most requirements specified. We have a staff member in place who can help drive out remaining requirements, in partnership the SF consultant we are looking for. We have a basic set of data to be imported. We have fun and are great to work with (at least we think so!)
How this will help
This project will save us $22,852 , allowing us to publish 5 stories about national issues such as climate change, war, or secrets being kept by the government.

At WhoWhatWhy, we are filling a demand for more honest, more relevant journalism. We are nonprofit and nonpartisan and we are fierce about digging for the truth--and coming up with answers that can move society forward. We plan a lot of ambitious projects on topics such as Climate Change, threats to privacy, and the presidential race, and we're looking forward to growing and having a growing impact. SalesForce will help us move forward with our fundraising. Take a look at us: www.WhoWhatWhy.com

Our mission

Provide the public with crucial information not normally unearthed or delivered by conventional media. We cover stories and angles others cannot or will not, with intelligence, honesty, and a hunger to know. We believe that the public has the right to the truth, that the truth changes minds--and that when you change minds, you change everything.

Testimonials

Leah has been great to work with. What she didn't know, she figured out. Was great at anticipating needs and getting ahead of the game.
