We would like to explore what kinds of content we could post on instagram.

What we have in place
  • We currently have an instragram account, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a rough idea of the content we want to post, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to be a paid member for advertisement on either Instagram or other social media platforms.

Since the pandemic is still there, and everyone goes on virtually. It is even important for an organization to keep active on social media than at any other time before. But currently, we don't have experienced staff who could take care of the social media operation. Our communications coordinator needs to manage all the events and programs' promotion on all sources. So with the help of this project, she will be more efficient and can save time to do more work.

  • Volunteer Manager and Professional connect to discuss the Organization’s current approach to Instagram (if any), goals for engagement via Instagram, and ideal target audience
  • Volunteer Manager shares any existing marketing materials and brand guidelines with Professional

Milestone 1: Set up Instagram for Business Account
  • Volunteer Manager shares Instagram credentials with Professional, if an existing account exists
  • Professional sets up account with bio and profile picture

Milestone 2: Develop Engagement Strategy
  • Professional recommends other types of accounts to follow and hashtags to use in order to build follower base
  • Professional recommends types and frequency of content to post on account (including posts, stories, and live videos)

Milestone 3: Content Creation Training
  • Professional trains Volunteer Manager on how to capture and/or find images to post on Instagram
  • Professional trains Volunteer Manager on how to use Instagram editing tools

The mission of the CCC is to promote intercultural harmony, strengthen the diverse community, and build bridges between the American and Chinese people through educational interactive programs and the arts.
