Project details

What we need
  • Up to 3 short (3-5 second) animations to be used in further marketing content
  • Note: This project should NOT be used for a fully animated video, or animations longer than 5 seconds
Additional details

We need an animator to help us raise $24 million to buy up hotspots and give them to children-in-need. We need a 2D/3D graphics expert to craft some super-awesome animated backgrounds for Zoom Teleconferencing meetings. They will have the Digital Wish logo watermarked or hidden in the graphics. We will give them away to schools nationwide so that kids can have really cool backdrops while they are learning. This is a great project to re-purpose old illustrations or 3D animations.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a tech spec for Zoom backdrops, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have guidance, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,454 , allowing us to put more hotspots in schools!

We are working to increase our visibility on the Zoom platform because nearly all schools nationwide are using it. This will encourage Zoom to get more involved with Digital Wish and at the same time encourage schools to get more involved with Zoom.

Testimonials

Justin produced some amazing 2D and 3D backdrops for Zoom Teleconferencing with our Digital Wish logo branding embedded in the artwork. THEY ARE FANTASTIC! These backgrounds will be circulated to teachers and students to enhance their Zoom call and classroom learning. If you get the opportunity to work with Justin on a project, you would be well-advised to accept him right away. He's a gem! He's very attentive to detail and revisions. In addition, he always delivers when he says he's going to. Justin is a wonderful volunteer and I've thoroughly enjoyed working with him. We hope to work with him on future projects.

Illustrated Animation Project

Digital Wish saw my portfolio pieces and reached out to me to ask if I could edit them into Zoom backgrounds. They were very understanding when I told them that some of those portfolio pieces were owned by companies I worked for previously, and they let me choose which of my past works I wanted to edit. I had plenty of creative freedom with this project and got to try out multiple styles of animation. They were exceedingly thoughtful and polite throughout the whole process and always responded promptly to answer any questions I had about the project or make suggestions for my work. In the end, I was able to provide them with three satisfactory pieces, including a 3D animation like they initially hoped for. I was happy to help out a good cause and work remotely for such kind people.
