What we need
  • Audit of the existing systems and processes; the audit is limited to hiring and termination practices, work scheduling, payroll processing, benefits administration, insurance, and compliance with federal and state employment laws
  • Recommendation for process improvements and software providers (if necessary)
  • Implementation of chosen software (if necessary)
  • Training on maintenance tasks
What we have in place
  • We currently have the responsibility for all HR operations, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have flexibility to change our system, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,746 , allowing us to focus on capacity building

  • Volunteer Manager shares relevant materials such as employment offer letters, termination letters, and time sheets

  • Professional reviews existing systems, and asks any clarifying questions
  • Professional identifies areas for improvement
  • Professional recommends improvements to processes, underlying policies, and tools such as software to help administer tasks

Our mission

Faith Action for Community Equity (Faith Action) is a grassroots, interfaith 501(c)3 non-profit organization driven by a deep spiritual commitment to improving the quality of life for our members and all the people of Hawaii. Through our common values and collective power, we address the root causes of social justice challenges facing our community. We are the only organization of its kind in Hawaii.

What we do

We are an interfaith organization consisting of multiple congregations, non-profit housing developers, and other non-profit advocacy organizations. We work on advocacy and policy issues relating to affordable housing, homelessness, immigration, long-term care, and other social justice issues.
