What we need
  • Well written copy for an email series (3-5 emails), or significant edits to an existing campaign
Additional details

We need an email set that is compelling for our end of year giving campaign, membership campaign and new years event event campaign.

I would like to learn:
-how to write compelling headlines
-how to evaluate the right times to send emails to our audience
-how to create and build engaged email lists
-how to write emails that get results

Goals
-10%+ email growth rate in 30 days (current: 18%)
-5%+ click rate growth rate in 30 days (current 3-5%)

What we have in place
  • We currently have software, talking points, links, goals, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have analytics, email lists, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to serve our community with free STEM programming.

This project will increase the membership, giving and attendance at events for a nonprofit science center in Oakland.

Our mission

Chabot Space & Science Center's mission is to inspire and education learners of all ages about Planet Earth and the Universe.

Among the nation's oldest science centers, Chabot in Oakland believes that science is for everyone and that the skills cultivated through a scientific mindset, including creativity, experimentation, iteration, and critical thinking are essential to advancing society. Through partnerships with community-based organizations, leading scientific institutions and area school districts, including OUSD, Chabot offers public programs, exhibits, and community based STEM education programs. With a small staff, Chabot retains the flexibility to pursue new opportunities that have outsized impact.
