What we need
  • An easily understood visual aid that communicates complex information
  • A high-resolution version of the Infographic in the Organization’s preferred format

We need help creating a visual to explain our Youth Workforce Development program as it encompasses three programs that all have different pathways and multiple ways you can participate

What we have in place
  • We currently have all the verbiage and some concepts, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have examples of other art., and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to This would allow us to keep expanding our free programming to serve more youth in under-served communities.

We are trying to help youth and supporters understand the impact of the programs.

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss the objective of the infographic, key audiences, and style preferences (if any)
  • Volunteer Manager shares examples of infographics they like with the Professional
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with data or other source of information to draw from

Milestone 1: Preliminary Sketching
  • Professional develops three drafted concepts to share with the Organization
  • Volunteer Manager chooses one draft as a primary concept and provides feedback

Milestone 2: Graphic Creation
  • Professional provides Volunteer Manager with first draft of Infographic
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with up to two rounds feedback

Milestone 3: Presentation of Deliverables
  • Professional delivers the final version of the Infographic including specifications for usage (colors, size, etc.)

Youth Guidance creates and implements school-based programs that enable children in under-resourced communities to overcome obstacles, focus on their education and, ultimately, to succeed in school and in life.

Youth Guidance is a leading school-based provider of outcomes-driven programs and capacity-building initiatives, serving more than 8,000 youth directly in FY14, and touching the lives of more than 11,000 youth, parents, teachers and community members.

Youth Guidance sees a bright and successful future for every at-risk, inner-city elementary and high school student in Chicago. We are present in Chicago Public Schools to facilitate an environment that meets students where they are and truly engages them in the learning process. Through careful guidance, we enable young men and women to realize their full potential and graduate with a meaningful plan for successfully managing life.
