What we have in place
  • We currently have a website and are developing a brief program plan, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have three staff people to assist, and the ability to provide any other information you need.

Our mission

Collaboratively advancing sustainable practices for farmers, ranchers and landowners through education, stewardship, and partnerships.

What we do

We support a number of programs and projects that serve to build awareness and opportunity to implement sustainable practices in land management including but not limited to:

- Together We Farm (a farmer, rancher, and landowner development program)
- Grant writing support and fund development support
- Manage West Oahu SWCD Cooperator meetings; serve as the liaison and main point of contact.

In addition, we believe in the power of critical thinking and informed decision making to build a better world. To advance this belief, OACA serves as the State Co-Coordinators for Project Learning Tree: A program that uses the environment as a platform for teaching "how to think not what to think" about complex issues facing our society.
