I am a one-person team whose foundation has grown a lot this year... we are now managing multiple contracts for our city and county including other fundraising campaigns.I need to hire a second person while also putting hiring systems in place...

The foundation has only ever been a 1 person job (29 years) this is my second year as the ED

  • We currently have an executive director who is eager to learn, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have board volunteers that might help with systems, and the ability to provide any other information you need.

  • Professional drafts strategy, which thoughtfully lays out all areas of the recruiting process
  • Strategy should include guidelines and actionable steps to implement recommendations
  • Volunteer Manager provides any feedback, which Professional incorporates into final draft
Milestone 4: Draft Job Descriptions & Recommendations for Hiring Channels
  • Professional drafts up a job description template the Organization can use
  • Professional recommends appropriate hiring channels for the Organization based on budget, and assists in any setup necessary to list job descriptions
