Project details

What we need
  • Specific copy from one document (up to 1000 words) translated from one language to one other of the Organization's choice
  • Note: If you need more than 1000 words translated or copy translated into more than one language, please post additional versions of this project
Additional details

We are a Domestic and Sexual Violence agency and we are working to get essential documents translated into German.

What we have in place
  • We currently have the documents, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have definitions of terms to aid in translation, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $7,098 , allowing us to use that money for continued upkeep of the 24hr shelter and to provide some financial assistance to clients (money for meds, deposits, etc).

This project will assist Avalon Center to provide better services and outreach for survivors from the German community. Many survivors of domestic and sexual violence have numerous barriers they are trying to overcome, being able to minimize the language barrier would be helpful The handouts are educational materials we share. The forms are some of the basic ones that clients complete when they come in for services.
