What we'd like to talk about
I'd like to brainstorm ideas for fundraising our new building construction we do affordable housing
"Phone calls" are 1 hour, one-time calls with an organization. Learn the difference between volunteering on a Phone call and a Project here.
Our mission
The mission of the Raise-Op is to operate safe and affordable housing that is democratically controlled by its Members on a non-profit basis.
The five principles that support this mission are:
Respect for other people and cooperative property;
Accountability to the cooperative and to each other;
Integration across different social groups;
Solidarity with individual members who face various social and economic challenges, and Solidarity with the movement for safe and affordable housing; and,
Equity among Members in the sharing of social and economic resources.

Azenaide and I discussed a capital project the organization has started. She was knowledgeable about the project and prepared to discuss its funding details. She is dedicated to the mission and value of organization. I was able to point out websites of possible funders in the area and steps to take to carry out the campaign.
