What we need
- A Membership Strategy document of 2-4 pages, including analysis of the Organization’s current membership program, step-by-step guide to a new or improved program, growth goals and creative outreach strategies
What we have in place
- We are a historical society with an archives and small museum. We run a membership program that has been focused on free admission to the museum and expanded in-person research hours, both benefits that have been impacted by COVID-19 and other factors. We are looking to asses our membership program and get recommendations for member retention and growth in the changing climate. We have new membership cards we intend to roll out, and automated renewal emails, but seek a more strategic plan.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,848 , allowing us to pay experts and creators to provide engaging digital content and showcase more of our holdings online for our members to enjoy.
We are coming to depend on membership more than ever as we no longer have walk-ins at our museum. We want to find ways to re-incentivize membership and create a marketing and retention strategy that will help keep our members engaged and increase the value of their membership. We've been creating new virtual content and want our members to be encouraged to take advantage of digital/virtual benefits.
