Project Details

What We Need
  • A visual redesign of the Organization's website
  • Design direction based on Organization's desired branding and style preferences
  • Mock-ups of key site pages
  • Commitment to 2 phone calls with a developer to guide initial front-end coding work
  • Note: We recommend this project for custom websites. If your site is built on a CMS platform like Wordpress or Squarespace that offers design templates, you may not need a visual design. Check out our Website Content Plan project for help designing a CMS-based website
What We Have In Place
  • We currently have Wordpress for design, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have Godaddy for hosting, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How This Will Help
This project will save us $9,186 , allowing us to recruit and train more community members; showcase our success stories; engage the community in online training and events; make our organization stand out.

Currently, our website is dated and not interactive. It lacks the ability to draw attention and engage. The information is sporadic and duplicated. We need an overhaul! In addition, we will need to know how to maintain and keep the website up to date. For example, everyone has a response to COVID. We do not because no one knows how to add the popup.

Our Mission

The Mission of Atlanta Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is:

To educate the community and to recruit, train and supervise court appointed volunteers to advocate for the best interest, safety and permanent placement of abused and neglected children in foster care within Fulton County, Georgia.

What We Do

Every year in Fulton County, there are more than 1000 children in foster care. These child victims of abuse and neglect by family members enter an overburdened child-welfare system and
legal system beyond their ability to understand or negotiate. The Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) is authorized by the court to be the eyes and ears of the judge and the voice of the child, ensuring that the child has what is needed to thrive until a place of safety and permanency is established. A CASA strives to Change A Child's Story!
