Currently, our website is dated and not interactive. It lacks the ability to draw attention and engage. The information is sporadic and duplicated. We need an overhaul! In addition, we will need to know how to maintain and keep the website up to date. For example, everyone has a response to COVID. We do not because no one knows how to add the popup.
The Mission of Atlanta Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is:
To educate the community and to recruit, train and supervise court appointed volunteers to advocate for the best interest, safety and permanent placement of abused and neglected children in foster care within Fulton County, Georgia.
Every year in Fulton County, there are more than 1000 children in foster care. These child victims of abuse and neglect by family members enter an overburdened child-welfare system and
legal system beyond their ability to understand or negotiate. The Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) is authorized by the court to be the eyes and ears of the judge and the voice of the child, ensuring that the child has what is needed to thrive until a place of safety and permanency is established. A CASA strives to Change A Child's Story!
