What we need
  • 3-5 one hour strategy sessions with a marketing professional covering topics like marketing channels, messaging, branding and target audiences
  • A written summary of marketing goals, target audiences and channels to prioritize
  • A starter plan of recommendations & actionable next steps to begin executing your strategy
  • Note: This project does not include the creation of content such as emails, print materials, or social media posts
What we have in place
  • We currently have two years of social media analytics that can be exported, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have examples of printed marketing materials and press releases, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,998 , allowing us to continue our expanded outreach to new and more diverse communities, and to collect and preserve the history of those communities.

Our organization right now has a problem with demographics. We primarily serve an older, non-diverse constituency, and have struggled to expand. From a programming perspective, we are starting to create initiatives designed at a more diverse audience, and that will hopefully demonstrate our relevance to a younger audience, but with limited experience marketing to these demographics, I am worried that we will do the programs but not reach our desired audiences or results.

The purpose and mission of the Fenton History Center - Museum & Research Center is to provide education and cultural opportunities for the residents of Chautauqua County and its visitors through the collection, preservation, and exhibition of artifacts and archival materials pertaining to Jamestown and southern Chautauqua County.
